Brief description of the bridge
Wormhole is a generic message passing protocol that connects high value blockchains together. Its applications leverage the core messaging layer to facilitate interoperability between ecosystems. Secured by 19 guardians, developers leverage the protocol to send arbitrary data cross-chain including tokens, NFTs, oracle data, governance decisions, and more. Recent implementations of Wormhole include the Portal bridge and NFT bridge, which allow for seamless asset transfers across supported chains. Wormhole is currently connected to Solana, Terra Classic, Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Oasis, Fantom, Aurora, Karura, Celo and Terra. Its design — which is easily extensible and upgradable — allows for quick consensus, connects more chains, and enables developers to build on top of Wormhole easily.

What is Terra Classic?
Rebranded from Terra, Terra Classic is a public blockchain based on Tendermint. It is home to the algorithmic stablecoin TerraClassicUSD (USTC).
https://www.terra.money/What is Karura?
Karura is the all-in-one DeFi hub of Kusama. Founded by the Acala Foundation, Karura is a scalable, EVM-compatible network optimized for DeFi. The platform offers a suite of financial applications including: a trustless staking derivative (liquid KSM), a multi-collateralized stablecoin backed by cross-chain assets (aUSD), and an AMM DEX – all with micro gas fees that can be paid in any token.
https://acala.network/karuraWhat is Aurora?
Aurora is a decentralized application platform based on third-generation blockchain technology dedicated to providing mature blockchain technology solutions for the entire industry.
https://www.aurorachain.io/What is Oasis Emerald Network?
The Oasis Network is a Layer 1 decentralized blockchain network designed to be uniquely scalable, privacy-first and versatile. The Network has two main architectural components, the Consensus Layer and the ParaTime Layer. 1. The Consensus Layer is a scalable, high-throughput, secure, proof-of-stake consensus run by a decentralized set of validator nodes. 2. The ParaTime Layer hosts many parallel runtimes (ParaTimes), each representing a replicated compute environment with shared state.

BSC is a dual-chain architecture that will empower users to build their decentralized apps and digital assets on one blockchain and take advantage of the fast trading to exchange on the other.
https://www.binance.com/What is Polygon?
Polygon is actually a layer-2 scaling solution whose main objective is to convey mass adaptation to the Ethereum platform. Polygon brings Layer-2 scalability to Ethereum with its multi-chain ecosystem. It drastically improves the overall efficiency and workings of the Matic network. The main aim is to create more and more solutions to scalability.
https://polygon.technology/What is Avalanche?
Avalanche is the fastest smart contracts platform in the blockchain industry, as measured by time-to-finality, and has the most validators securing its activity of any proof-of-stake protocol. Also is an open-source platform for launching decentralized applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in one interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem. Avalanche is the first decentralized smart contracts platform built for the scale of global finance, with near-instant transaction finality. Ethereum developers can quickly build on Avalanche as Solidity works out-of-the-box.
https://www.avax.network/What is Celo?
Celo’s aim is to empower anyone with a smartphone anywhere in the world to have access to financial services, send money to phone numbers, and pay merchants -- on a decentralized platform that is operated by a community of users. To achieve this, Celo is a complete stack of new blockchain software, core libraries that run on that blockchain, and end user applications including a Wallet app that communicate with that logic.
https://celo.org/What is Solana?
Solana is a decentralized blockchain built to enable scalable, user-friendly apps for the world. Solana ensures composability between ecosystem projects by maintaining a single global state as the network scales. Never deal with fragmented Layer 2 systems or sharded chains.
https://solana.com/What is Terra?
Terra is a blockchain protocol that supports stable programmable payments and open financial infrastructure development. It is supported by a basket of fiat-pegged, seigniorage share style stablecoins which are algorithmically stabilized by its native cryptoasset, Luna. One part of Terras value contributions, payments, in essence replaces the complicated payments value chain, including credit card networks, banks, and payment gateways with a single blockchain layer. In concert with the efficiencies that Terra has provided payment channels for both merchants and consumers, it continues to steadily provide infrastructural improvements and tools for the foundations of laying down a credibly neutral, distributed, and radically transparent ecosystem.
https://www.terra.money/What is Fantom?
Fantom is a high-performance, scalable, and secure smart-contract platform. It is designed to overcome the limitations of previous generation blockchain platforms. Fantom is permissionless, decentralized, and open-source. Lachesis, its revolutionary aBFT consensus mechanism, allows Fantom to be much faster and cheaper than older technologies, yet extremely secure.
https://fantom.foundation/What is Ethereum?
Ethereum is both a blockchain network, an application platform, and a full-fledged programming language. The goal of the project is to create and publish distributed applications that do not require third party trust.
